Exploring Online Student Engagement During COVID-19 Pandemic in Mongolia

Student online engagement has become a challenge for higher education in Mongolia during the COVID-19 pandemic. This study explores student learning of Mongolian lockdown period. The assessed differences across gender, tools students used to study, their level and field study. It also determined associations between variables. data were collected using questionnaire developed by Dixson (2015), scale measure (OST) with four variables: skills, emotion, participation, performance. tests Kruskal-Wallis, Shapiro-Wilk, Cramer’s V, Point biserial as well Spearman rho analyses. most significant variables participation One important results was that internet access highly correlated performance variable (p=.00). did not find any or correlation “emotion” expressing devotion commitment
